An Evening of Field Research and Exploration: Public Lecture by National Geographic Explorers William Saturno and Mark Synnott

On Friday, September 27th, the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History will be hosting a public lecture that will feature archaeologist William Saturno and The North Face athlete Mark Synnott.

Saturno will detail recent archaeological discoveries in Xultun, Guatemala, and delve into the ongoing mysteries of the enigmatic Maya.  Synnott will share highlights from a sailing and climbing expedition around Oman’s Musandam Peninsula with his world-renowned team. (link)
