On Friday, May 4th, the Museum of Natural History will be hosting a fun family event from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
The event includes discounted planetarium shows, free dino tours, and a reading from author Eric Carle.

Come experience the University of Michigan Museum of Natural History at night on Friday, May 4. We will be staying open until 9pm! Join us for $3 planetarium shows at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, 8:30 pm. These Star Talk shows will be 30 minutes long and focus on what you can see in the night sky. In anticipation of Spring, we will be reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar aloud by Eric Carle at 6:00 and 7:00 pm in the planetarium. This free story time will feature images from the book on the planetarium dome. Space is limited to 36 people and children must be accompanied by an adult. There will be free 30 minute dinosaur tours at 6:00, 7:00 and 8:00pm. Space on the tours is limited to 15 people.
